Today RFID technology is being recognized in the field of Security as a new technology in providing secure and reliable information. And it is in-fact, replacing the barcodes and swipe cards.

In-order to read the information from the RFID cards, a special reader mounted with an antenna is required. The Antenna scans the surrounding and identifies RFID cards in the field.

The RFID Reader application is created to access these RFID Reader devices from a PC. The Application sends commands to the Reader and retrieves the data from the Reader. It can read/write data into the RFID cards with the help of the reader. The information are converted into bytes and then written into the card. While reading the bytes are converted back to application specific information.

The Application also controls the Reader settings like ID, Baud Rate, etc…
